Readers, I was struggling with the ethics of my previous website host, as well as Substack's embrace of racist writers. So I decided to move to this new home, and am bringing you all with me. This is a quick, bonus note for this month, and usual service resumes in April.

A Sneak Preview

My new book is out soon, so here is a glimpse into one of the feature spreads. I was keen to find examples of scientists, engineers and inventors who used unusual materials to create their product.
